At Ludgershall Castle Primary School we aim to provide the pupils with the opportunities to develop their knowledge and understanding of the beliefs and practices of Christians and people of other principle world religions, and non-religious world views. Our lessons promote respect and tolerance of others within our diverse society.
RE is taught every week by our school staff with regular additional lessons and readings from our local Church for each class.
We follow the Wiltshire approved Discovery RE scheme of learning which is progressive from Reception to Year 6 and expands on their knowledge of specific religions (Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism and Islam) each year.
